Information on the Processing Activity:

Purposes of the Processing Activity:
Collection of applicant data (trial subjects) for advertised clinical studies.
The data is collected by powerMedia CRO Services on behalf of the providers of the respective study.

Legal Basis of the Processing Activity:
Consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR has been obtained. The requirements for consent pursuant to Art. 7 (1)-(4) GDPR are met.
If the suitability of the trial subjects is confirmed, the controller of the study will conclude a contract with the trial subject.

Categories of Recipients:
Third party (Third parties: Entity advertising the study)

Data Transfer to a Third Country:
No transfer to third countries is planned.

Additional Information Obligations:

Retention Period of Personal Data:
The applicants' data will be deleted after the completion of the trial subject suitability procedure, at the latest six months after collection.

Rights of the Data Subject:
You have the right to obtain information (pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR) from the controller regarding the personal data concerning you, as well as the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), and restriction of processing (Art. 18 (1) GDPR). Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Right to Lodge a Complaint:
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Obligation to Provide Personal Data:
The data subject is obliged to provide the personal data.

Consequences of Non-Provision:
Participation in the clinical study is not possible.

Automated decision-making takes place. The logic described below is applied, and you will be informed of the scope and consequences of such processing for you as a data subject:

In the automated decision, the health-related suitability of the trial subject is assessed. A contract is then concluded with suitable applicants.

Withdrawal by Trial Subject

Withdrawal of consent to data storage by the trial subject.

Legal Basis of the Processing Activity:

Consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR has been obtained. The requirements for consent pursuant to Art. 7 (1)-(4) GDPR are met.

In the event of withdrawal, the user's entry in the database will be deleted. The client will receive written information about this, the content and acknowledgment of which must be confirmed in writing.

No transfer to third countries is planned.

Additional Information Obligations:

In the withdrawal procedure, the data will be deleted immediately – at the latest after 30 days.
